23.5.2018. The Truth Project has published its interim report. Among the many recommendations it asks for a comprehensive review of the funding and provision for support services like ours, which we know are vital to help people cope and recover. Fingers crossed it has some impact.

Advice Line Update - 9.10.2017
SV2 is currently limiting its Advice Line hours to between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday to enable the best possible service for the foreseeable future. We'll update you if this changes.
Therapy Funding Update - 9.10.2017
SV2 has been successful in securing some funding for adult therapy from the Big Lottery for the next three years. This is great news for us and for our clients and will ultimately enable us to re-open our waiting list for access to therapy. However, in the short term the waiting list will remain closed to enable us to refer the large number of clients already on the waiting list in to therapy as soon as possible. We'll update our website and let local health professionals know as soon as we re-open the waiting list. This is likely to be early in 2018.
Unfortunately as SV2 has not been able to secure future long term funding for therapy and as the waiting list is already significantly high, SV2 has reluctantly taken the very difficult decision to close the waiting list and will not accept any more referrals into the therapy service.
SV2 acknowledges this is a very difficult decision for the agency and for clients and is hoping to review this in a few month's time.
